Kavanaghs The Temple in Dublin

What a fantastic bar. We have been coming here after the GAA games in Croke Park and have always received fantastic service and hospitality by the friendly and attentive staff. The finger food handed out free of charge is an incredible gesture and we will continue to return. 5 stars

Not the most welcoming of pubs.

Went here for the food not really the drinks but I will say the whiskey sour was really good! I enjoyed the food everything had good flavor and nice portion sizing. The place was a bit empty when I got there, but it was a really nice vibe. Everyone was checking in on us and it felt really relaxing to eat there. I would definitely go again!

Friendly approachable employees. Definitely recommend Kavanaghs as a trustworthy option. The bar manager made an effort to socialise with his customers. Attractive interior design. Comfortable. Outside/door seating is cosy and airy and partitioned. Highly recommend. Hope to visit the team again!

Lovely place with lovely people

A real townie/Dublin bar. Spotless, attentive friendly staff, a rustic homemade menu plus right beside Mater and Temple street hospitals. Do visit a great experience.

Portion sizes are large. Food was ok, nothing phenomenal, but not bad. Place was a bit loud and hard to have a conversation.

Fantastic beef and Guinness stew! My daughter enjoyed their spaghetti bolognese. Calm atmosphere, and kind workers. Music played over speaker wasn't so loud like some places during the day. You can sit and enjoy talking with those you brought along. Portion sizes are quite big and food always brought out steaming hot. We chose to go 2 of the 3 nights we were in Dublin.

If you want a nice, peaceful pub atmosphere without rowdy tourists, this just may be the place for you. The food was very high quality, with enormous portion sizes. The staff was helpful and friendly. They made us feel welcome. I can highly recommend the Guinness Stew and the stuffed baked potato with chicken and mushrooms.

Friendly staff, I was seated immediately and my order came quickly. The cod was impeccable and the tartare was heavenly! I left satisfied. My only complaint is the front door, which is constantly slammed by the draft.
