Kay's Kitchen in Dublin

a regular spot for me and family. always the best ham and cheese toasted sandwiches and mi wadi slushies. good coffee aswell although theyre seperate little coffee booth has been closed for some time now so im not sure the coffee is made the same. i came today and was greeted by a lovely staff member with a big smile. so welcoming to all customers and did her job with a smile and a good attidude. didnt catch her name but she was the girl clearing the tables and cleaning the floors around noon. should be grateful to have her as an employee. all staff are always really friendly and up for a laugh

Best Customer Service!!!!! Have to say having lunch today at Kays, has been an absolute pleasure!!! The kitchen staff were especially obliging to myself and our family, going out of their way to cook something special for my wife who has an onion allergy! I've worked in the industry a long time and thought it was loosing it's charm, especially in terms of customer service.....Kays staff have proved me 100% wrong today. Thank you lads!!!

Layout is all over the place ,one place to order food, another for coffee then pay

The layout looks inviting, you have great views over the bay, but the canteen style set up (with good in heating trays) means having to go on one queue to get food and then wait and queue up again to get tea or coffee. I went to have breakfast this morning and had to give up as the person on the food counter was busy doing other things (preparing sandwiches for later). Just had to make do with a pot of tea. There are better options in the centre that are better organised.

Went in just as the breakfast/lunch swap over happened and the breakfast wasn't great, had 2 queue for the food then queue 2 pay then wait for chips so a bit of a palava, people getting coffee queued at the till so people who had food had 2 wait and pay so food was going cold
