Excellent and convenient to airport

Only a short walk down the hill from terminal 2 Dublin international airport. Perfect if you have a 5 or 6 hour stop over between flights.

We came here because of the many good reviews. We spontaneously got a table without a reservation (eating time was around 1.5 hours). The restaurant was very full at that time (4:30 p.m.). The staff were very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately the food wasn't really good. We had fish and chips and a burger. The breading was too thick and greasy and the pea puree had no taste. The meat on the burger was a disaster. The taste was far removed from a real beef burger and the consistency was also questionable. Unfortunately not edible for us. The fries were quite roughly cut, but very tasty. Because of the crowds, others seem to like it here... Maybe we were just unlucky. The furnishings are attractive, but the many visitors with the corresponding noise and hustle and bustle do not invite you to linger.

As usual, Kealy's reaches for excellence in everything they do. Just had an amazing breakfast. Eggs cooked to order, lovely bright orange yokes, home made hash that was not at all greasy or heavy. Cooked tomato and lovely mushrooms. The bacon and sausage were delicious as was the pudding. Basically, anything they do, they do very well. They've also added a heated terrace on the roof and are just starting to build another on the ground floor.

The kids and I love coming here. We haven't had 1 bad dining experience, the food is great and the staff are always so attentive.

Fantastic food and service. Chicken wings definitely a highlight!
