Food & service is good ,private party ,we were well looked after.

I was recommended to visit kestrel for food what a surprise. The vegetables were gorgeous potatoes real fresh lovely chef will return atmosphere poor the overall place could do with a make over especially toilet. But we'll done on foodspot on

Food tastes great & great value. Service is very good. Atmosphere is not great to be honest but the quality of food and service makes up for it.

For many years I didn't go there and often I found there was a lot of people that would refuse to go there due to a reputation of either having some less than reputable people there. Also that the bouncers at the door were some of the ugliest personalities I had ever met and getting in was down to if they decided to remember ever seeing you before. Members of security will sweep bathrooms and open stall doors at their own convenience which could very easily make for a lawsuit but that is because of the less than reputable people that decided to do "recreationals" in those stalls. Overall the bar staff are really friendly and helpful, the drinks are always good and the glasses are always clean. On one side of the pub you have a quiet bar for people that want to eat and enjoy a drink with friends or family whereas on the other side there is a function room. The function room has large open spaces along with a pool table and a bar that sits in the center of the room. The atmosphere is what you make of it so remember to try make the most of it and enjoy yourselves
