Doesn't matter what it's called. It's just a good pub

Nice local pub, with good bar service and a good pint of Guinness . Quite an older cliente. No food available. Unfortunately, my wife won't go back due to the quite pungent odor that hits you when you enter (of stale beer? but I'm not sure what it is). While it didn't affect me that much, I had to agree with her, it is quite off-putting. I'm sure the problem can be resolved with a thorough deep clean of the seating, flooring and whatever else is causing the oder. Once that problem is resolved, it'll be a good place to relax and enjoy a pint.
