On the way to Mount Venus Nursery, passed by a Japanese restaurant I had tried once before. I really missed the food—it was delicious, and the prices were reasonable.

Excellent food, quick and friendly service, decent prices. Seafood Chahan was amazing. Miso ramen (salmon) was a bit bland, but we added chili oil and it got spicy and delicious. Will come back to try sushi as well, highly recommend!

Food was absolutely delicious though the seafood dish could have done with better quality tuna. Service was okay, not bad but not impressive. Definitely would recommend!

The Farmhouse Cafe

02/05/2025: Food is quite good, but they give you a take away cup if you want to sit outside. I never ever use them even if food degradable. I told them that I want a proper cup but the person said that he is not allowed to give me the normal cup and made my coffee in the plastic one anyway. When I refused it he poured the already made coffee in the normal cup. Completely lost point, he generated plastic waste and I didn’t enjoy my coffee and will not come here again.

The Portobello Bar

24/05/2025: Super friendly service. Customer requests are no problem. The food is beautifully presented and tastes simply delicious. The best omelet I've ever eaten.
19/05/2025: My review is for a Saturday night after 10 pm - so did not order any food. This is a large, beautiful bar with lots of seating options for individuals or groups. I sat at the bar and the service was attentive. There was a DJ playing pop hits mostly from 80s and newer and was outstanding - the best DJ I encountered in Dublin which made for a very fun and festival night. Not sure if there is live music at other times since I went late. Would highly recommend, was worth the short taxi ride from The temple bar area.
