Like this pub.Spacious bar area,mostly with a male clientele here ,a testament I reckon to the especially good pint served here.Havent visited the Lounge here so can't comment.Staff are friendly and pleasant.The toilets are clean and Transport connections are good ,to the nearby Malahide Rd. and the Howth Junction rail station. Enjoy your visit.

The Abbey Tavern

23/06/2025: Had Sunday evening meal. Staff and sevice were excellent. My food [irish corned beef] was excellent. If you are English, it is not like our corned beef. Ask the staff. The fish and chips and fish pie were also very good. The atmosphere was also excellent.
22/06/2025: Fantastic place to cool with a pint after a walk around the peninsula 😇

26/03/2025: Update: Four face appears to have closed shop ☹️ ☕️ Delicious coffee 🥐 Small selection of pastries ⭐️ Friendly and considerate staff ☀️ Only coffee shop in Rathmines open for early risers
