I've been coming here for a long time, one of my favourites in the city.

Had a fantastic lunch in La Cave. I ate French onion soup to start and beef bourguignon special as my main. Lovely, quality ingredients and everything was served well. I drank Campari & Orange and an amaretto coffee to finish. Lovely staff and great service. The restaurant is tight, tables are very close, I think it’s perfect for 4 people. Romantic authentic French theme and it works well. Extensive wine selection - served by the glass, carafe, and bottle. Menu has plenty of options to suit many requirements.

Nice wine cellar with attractive surroundings.

Had a brilliant wine tasting experience here recently (have done a few different ones here over many years) and followed by a tasty dinner downstairs. Both food, wine and commentary were excellent - I can only recommend!

Lovley food but cold to sit in but would go again and ask for different seat Tom
