I didn't like our table as it was a small space to administrate the dishes. Everything else was lovely!

Everything we had here was exquisite. We could fault nothing. Very elegant, sophisticated fare. We had a selection of tapas. Mains are available too and sounded amazing. We sat by the bar and were delighted. A very trendy, bright, cheerful atmosphere.
Superb cocktails.
Deserts were divine. The tarta arabe was pretty amazing. It's pastry was heavenly and the custard a very sophisticated offering.
Would highly recommend this place for a special event or a very nice evening out.
Service was friendly, informed, attentive.
They have a sister restaurant round the corner called Tapas de Lola which has been a much loved eatery for many years now. Both are now truly delightful authentic Spanish experiences in Dublin.
In a city full of excellent restaurants, La Gordita still manages to set itself apart. I couldn’t say which impressed me more, the food or the staff. The team there have set the bar incredibly high, they truly care about the experience of every customer. They went above and beyond to accommodate my husbands dietary restrictions, and never left you waiting or wanting for anything. The Tarta árabe was a particular stand out item, the most delicious and delicate dessert I’ve had in years. It’s a very special place 😊

Had oysters, fried aubergine, octopus salad, squid ink rice, crispy pork belly and the apple dessert.
Highly recommend the fried aubergine and squid ink rice. Those were stellar in flavour and texture. The rest were not on par but not bad at all.
I dock service a bit since I felt our water refills were not as prompt nor as friendly as I'd like.
Otherwise, I would still recommend. Pricey but worth it.

Myself and my Wife had dinner here last Saturday, now right from the off i'll tell you it's pricey, the food and wine are expensive but the food is fantastic, we had some cocktails to start, the barman was a top bloke, we then had Oysters, Bluefin Tuna Brioche, Tempura spring onion( delicious), Black Pudding with Sweet Peppers(a must try ), Crab Salad with chicken skin and then the Rib Eye with the Bravas and i have to say all delicious but the desert was the star of the show, The Tarta Arabe which was just yummy, all in all it's a great spot, a little pricey but excellent food and excellent service, i would def go again.

Food is unreal. Try the anchovies and blue cheese. Service was so informed and welcoming. A little pricey but a great way to celebrate a special occasion or bring visitors

€38 for two dishes for one person. Both sandwiches I ordered were delicious; squid sandwich and a lobster brioche. A bit expensive but lobster always is. I was wasn't stuffed from those two small plates so I'd recommend a third plate if you were particularly hungry.

This was high on my list to try for a long time and it was worth every cent. The food was delicious, packed full of flavour and aesthetically pleasing. The service was friendly, informative, helpful and the atmosphere was very welcoming too.
One of the best restaurants in Dublin.
It's a must try.
