La Gordita in Dublin

They usually recommend 5 to 6 dishes between two people, but the rice dishes and the osso bucco are quite filling so take that into account! The service, food and wine was amazing, we had the Villa des Croix white wine, paired very nicely with the seafood. Would deffo recommend and visit again

Great tapas with complex flavours, every dish is unique with great execution. Shall plates so each person should order 3 dishes at minimum. Highly recommend the anchovies with blue cheese, scallops, crab salad and octopus salad. The highlight of the meal were the desserts: "torrijas" brioche soaked in rum (with a delightful mochi-like texture) and a crispy tarta arabe (crunchy pastry with custard cream).

The food is really good and very different in terms of flavour. The only problem is the price for small portions and honestly, don’t think that olive oil matches well with chocolate as a dessert, but that might be just my preference.

La Gordita is a fantastic Spanish restaurant in Dublin. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the entire team everyone was kind, attentive, and genuinely friendly. The service is exceptional and creates a very comfortable atmosphere. The food is outstanding. Each dish is full of rich flavors and clearly prepared with great care and authenticity. You can really sense the passion behind the cooking.

Absolutely stunning flavours. Each dish packed a punch with the careful curation of flavours and excellent presentation. The atmosphere was cosy and the staff were very courteous. However, we did feel pressured to order extra dishes by the barman, almost obligated. It's a very pricey place for the portions that you receive, but I think that's due to their name recognition and prestige. For a special occasion, you certainly won't regret picking La Gordita. The flavours are so memorable.

Superb service and food in this great little restaurant. The pork is INSANELY GOOD (one of those plates of food that you'll talk about and try to recreate at home with no success) and the rest of the menu is pretty good too. The staff are passionate about what they do and the produce they serve. Truly excellent!

Excellent spot. Suits a group very well because the small plates menu has so much to choose from and it’s all delicious. We took recommendations on what to order and none of the plates disappointed. The service was helpful, friendly and efficient. Would recommend.
