Fantastic restaurant! Great food, friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. The staff was incredible friendly and attentive,making sure we were comfortable throughout our meal. Highly recommend for anyone.

I love this Italian restaurant set idylically accross the road from the Bull Island lagoon. The lights of the city and Howth peninsula add a nice feeling. I usually get the lasagne, which is always fabulous, however this time I went for the steak. Beautiful! Cooked the way I ordered and the pepper sauce was tasty with the right amount of bite and peppercorn. My only disappointment was that it didnt come with mash or vegetables. The options were chips or salad. I chose the chips and they were great too but I had the hankering for some vegetables. Perhaps they were out of season. Still that won't stop me going back for more. Worth a visit to make up your own mind, with or without vegetables!

Lovely food , good value, just felt abit rushed by staff.

He estado en La Gustosa muchas veces con familiares y amigos y estoy sorprendido por las críticas negativas. Creo que es un pequeño restaurante italiano genial: las pizzas están muy bien hechas (hemos viajado a Italia muchas veces y encontramos que las pizzas en La Gustosa son mejores que muchas de las pizzas que se pueden comer en el extranjero). Los entrantes son preciosos (mis hijos prefieren las alitas de pollo, mi marido la deliciosa bruschetta y yo las gambas) y el tiramisú es casero y delicioso. Es nuestro ir - restaurante para una comida fácil y el personal es siempre muy amable y eficiente. En una ciudad como Dublín con locales muy caros y mucha comida mediocre este es un restaurante muy sólido. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

Excellent food, lovely atmosphere, busy Friday evening! One negative point which resulted in a very small tip was an arrogant young waiter! Will certainly go again soon and hope that the arrogant waiter is not on duty.
