La Papessa Pizza in Swords

Have had both the pizzas and sandwiches here and they are absolutely delicious. Great to have a business that cares about knocking out top quality food. I have recommended to all pur friends in the area. The service here is absolutely first class, really friendly people.

We ordered a pizza each and both were to die for. The parma ham was so delicate on mine and the salami/nuja on his the perfect kick. The dough itself is light and fluffy with a slight char. Being a Friday night the staff were up to their eyes with orders so naturally there was a bit of a wait, but well worth it. As we finished our pizzas one of the staff came over with a complimentary dessert, a sweetbread with Pistashio cream, heavenly! All staff were lovely. Couldn't fault anything. Looking forward to coming back :)

I was in a pinch with a dead phone battery, and the amazing staff let me charge it and have a seat while I was waiting! They were incredibly kind and friendly. Been getting pizza here for a while and always delicious. You can tell the ingredients are top quality. Tried the lunchtime sandwich just now for first time and top class. The bread was unreal. Highly recommend!

I had the pleasure of trying Papessa's Neapolitan pizza here in Swords, and I must say it was a pleasant surprise. The dough is truly excellent, light and well worked, and the flavor combinations are original and well balanced. As a Neapolitan, I really appreciated the quality of the Italian DOP products they use, a detail that really makes the difference in the flavor. The owners, despite being local, had the excellent idea of ​​bringing the authentic tradition of Neapolitan pizza here, allowing both locals and Italian expatriates to savor a piece of Italy. In addition to the quality of the pizza, the atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is extremely friendly. A really positive experience, I will definitely be back!

I’ve gotten pizza here a few times now and the pizza is very very good, the dough is nice and light. Crispy crust but soft to the bite. Nice and airy. The garlic bread are also amazing and are a filling as the pizzas and I do enjoy trying their fortnightly special. My favourite so far was the pumpkin pizza. They also add a nice touch and write you a little note inside the pizza box, I am a qualified AVPN pizza chef and I am very impressed.
