La Peniche in Dublin

Great experience, tasty food and lovely staff

My wife and I had our dinner date on La Peniche, and it was absolutely amazing. It's one thing to eat by the canal, but to actually cruise down it, passing through the old locks, is something else entirely. The food was delicious- I highly recommend the duck confit! The atmosphere was perfect, with great jazzy remakes of pop and rock songs playing. The fun little moment of having to crouch under a low stone bridge just added to the charm. A truly special night out.

Was a great experience, I would even say its a unique one in dublin, its highly recommended! The atmosphere was fantastic.Food was great, the staff even detailed me over what food i could have as am coeliac. Totally worth it.

An absolutely magical experience! Dining while sailing was already a unique promise, but the team made it unforgettable. The staff is exemplary in their kindness and professionalism, always smiling and attentive. As for the meal... a real treat! Refined, tasty, and perfectly presented dishes. Los canales de Dublín son encantadores, especialmente cuando ves a la tripulación navegar hábilmente a través de las esclusas mientras disfrutas de una copa de vino en cubierta. La comida Francesa clásica sería deliciosa en cualquier lugar, pero es especialmente impresionante dado que se produce en una cocina del tamaño de un sello postal. Un punto culminante de nuestra estancia en Dublín!

A truly lovely summer evening! Delicious French fare amazingly produced by a team of chefs in a tiny onboard galley, served by attentive and friendly staff. A great way to see part of Dublin away from the tourist crowds.
