Good service and great atmosphere

Great experience with my friends. Wonderful discovery of this gem in Dublin

La Peniche is a really unique experience for me. Dining while cruising the canal is something you don’t do every day. The trip through the old locks was great craic and added real charm. Food was great, service was sound, and the atmosphere was relaxed. Not perfect, but well worth it for the novelty alone. Would happily do it again.

Great experience, tasty food and lovely staff

My wife and I had our dinner date on La Peniche, and it was absolutely amazing. It's one thing to eat by the canal, but to actually cruise down it, passing through the old locks, is something else entirely. The food was delicious- I highly recommend the duck confit! The atmosphere was perfect, with great jazzy remakes of pop and rock songs playing. The fun little moment of having to crouch under a low stone bridge just added to the charm. A truly special night out.

Was a great experience, I would even say its a unique one in dublin, its highly recommended! The atmosphere was fantastic.Food was great, the staff even detailed me over what food i could have as am coeliac. Totally worth it.
