Laguna Resturant & Takeway in Abbeyfeale

We used Laguna as our caterers for our wedding. The food was incredible, service from all the staff was unreal and so many of our guests commented on how good the food was. I'd highly recommend Laguna as caterers. Amit was our main contact, and he was always available to answer any queries we had in the lead up to the wedding.

Was recommended by a friend to try Laguna and was not disappointed! Delighted with our experience here even though the waiter didn’t quite get our order right. For example, one of the dishes we ordered didn’t arrive so they subsequently made it and didn’t charge us for it. The food is tasty and I have no complaints with the good portion sizes. Really liked the okra fries and the chicken vindaloo (super spicy). We ordered quite a lot and actually we ordered a veg mixed grill instead of a meat one by accident! Next time will need to be clearer with the waiter. The staff are really polite and attentive but make sure to get the order right!

We had an amazing experience with Laguna Catering for our wedding and couldn’t recommend them enough! From the very beginning, Anand was our main point of contact and was absolutely incredible throughout the whole process. He was always on the other side of the phone whenever we had a question or needed anything, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Having someone so helpful, responsive and reassuring made such a difference in the lead-up to the wedding. On the day itself, everything ran so smoothly and we had so many guests tell us how much they loved the food. The team also catered incredibly well for our guests with special dietary requirements and allergens, which gave us so much peace of mind and was really appreciated. A huge thank you to Anand and the entire Laguna Catering team for looking after us so well and being such an important part of our wedding. We honestly appreciate everything you did for us and would recommend you without hesitation!

We visited Laguna Restaurant in Ealing on a Sunday evening. While the restaurant is seemingly well known for its Sunday buffet, we decided to stick with the à la carte menu, and I am very glad we did because the meal was excellent from start to finish. We began with some Poppadoms and the Mushroom & Truffle Tikki. The tikki was fantastic, with an almost doughnut-like crispness to the outside from being beautifully fried. The truffle flavour was particularly good, providing plenty of depth without becoming overpowering. The mushroom itself was somewhat masked by the strength of the truffle, but overall this was still a really enjoyable and well-executed starter. The poppadoms also came with a trio of chutneys, all of which were fresh and full of flavour. For mains, I went for the Butter Chicken, while my friend chose the Daal Makhanwali. We shared mushroom rice and I also ordered a garlic naan. My butter chicken was rich, creamy, and packed with flavour, with the chicken cooked beautifully and the sauce having a lovely depth to it. The portions were generous, and we were also offered raita and salad to accompany the meal. The raita was very good, although I would probably skip the salad platter in future. At £4.50 extra, it was easily the weakest part of the meal and didn't really add much. We finished by sharing the Dessert Platter, which consisted of four mini desserts: Gulab Jamun, Gajar Ka Halwa, Kheer Dalchini, and Saffron Ice Cream. The saffron ice cream was excellent, while the Gulab Jamun was beautifully soft and soaked in a deliciously sweet syrup. The Gajar Ka Halwa was well prepared, although it isn't personally my favourite dessert. The Kheer Dalchini wasn't really to my taste either, but there was no denying that all four desserts were carefully prepared and full of flavour. The service was excellent throughout. Despite the restaurant being heavily focused on a very busy Sunday buffet, the staff still found plenty of time to look after the à la carte diners. They were attentive, welcoming, and never made us feel like an afterthought. Overall, this was a fantastic dining experience. The food was excellent, portions were generous, service was great, and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. I would happily recommend Laguna to anyone looking for a quality Indian meal in Ealing, and I will definitely be coming back.

This is the second event that Laguna have catered for us, and as our wedding, it was very important to us that everything was exactly right. Amit and team were extremely helpful from the outset, helping us to customise and craft our day event to be exactly as we wanted. On the day everything went without a hitch and was exactly as we had hoped for. The food and service were both top notch. We received lots of compliments from guests, including our close family members who were very impressed. I was particularly pleased with the way the team blended both the bespoke and standard Laguna elements so that everything was seamless. All in all we were extremely happy and had a wonderful day.

Laguna catered our wedding. We worked with Nitin who is very professional. Our menu was mainly Sri Lankan, with some Caribbean and Indian dishes. I will address some key points in this review which I was most focused on, on the lead up to the day - spoiler, they did a great job! The food on the day was amazing, and we have received positive feedback from all of our guests. The Sri Lankan food was as authentic as the food tasting. I'd say the food overall was 90% the same as the food tasting. I noticed some unexpected variances on the day, most of which were great. So dishes were more spicy than agreed originally, but this wasn't an issue for our crowd. The canapes never ran out during our 1.5-2 hour cocktail hour. The mocktail set up was very impressive too, they know how to present! We supplied prosecco which Laguna were happy to serve with their own glasses. Come dinner time, they just kept topping up the food! Nitin was a man of his word when he said "we've never had an issue of running out of food". We were actually running ahead of schedule initially, but ended up being delayed by time the mains were completed, as Laguna did not rush through the dinner service. Ensuring our guests were well fed was more important I would say, so please take this as a positive. The bar service was top quality too, and the bar tenders were friendly - that really made a difference to me, as the groom. We supplied the alcohol and Laguna supplied bar staff, glasses, some soft drinks and garnishes, and there wasn't a single speed bump in their service from what I saw. I could go on, but the main message here is, you get what you pay for. Laguna comes at a premium price, but they truly do deliver. I would recommend them to anyone for Indian or Sri Lankan catering!

Such a lovely restaurant - keep it that way! It serves fresh and honestly the best Indian food I’ve ever had! They’re also really flexible with the spice level, so everything can be adjusted to your taste. The service was outstanding, which is quite rare these days. Everyone was attentive, welcoming, friendly, polite, and genuinely knowledgeable. It was nice to see the restaurant celebrating guests’ special occasions. A few tables were there for birthdays and anniversaries, and the team surprised them with lovely little treats, which was a really thoughtful touch. The restaurant is well maintained, the prices are very reasonable, and the whole experience was fantastic. I can’t wait to come back and experience the Sunday buffet! Thank you for having me!
