They didn't have plates.. Got the scrambled eggs and a coffee to dine in, after purchasing I was informed it would need to come in a takeaway box (just scrambled eggs). Tasted good but would have been better with a plate and real cutlery.

Sory to decrease the rating but, dirty tables and seats, in the morning! A simple espresso should not be two fingers long, especially if asked for restreto. Croissants definitely doesn't reccomended - dry and chewy.

29/07/2026: Had a delicious meal. 1 lunch, 1 dinner. Generous portions, for those who like that 😉. Polite and friendly staff and a beautiful restaurant.
16/07/2026: This is our third stay at the Hilton in the last six months and not our first dinner at The Sixth Lock Bar & Restaurant, which is in the same building. The kitchen really does an excellent job. Tonight we enjoyed a genuinely beefy hamburger and the Apple Crumble Tart was superb. Service was on point (thank you Fabius, the custom made mocktail was lush). We ate in a ‘tucked away’ corner of the Bar area, which was just what we wanted for a quiet dinner. Air-con was on the cool side for our taste, but this is always subjective. fyi.

09/08/2026: Lovely coffee spot in the sun, very friendly service. I come here most days of the week at this stage.
08/08/2026: Great place to go! Coffee, sausage rolls and pastries are great. And staff are so friendly, and always giving out dog treats.
