Laughter Lounge in Dublin

We enjoyed a night of laughs and craic at the laughter lounge, the venue is well located on Eden Quay with easy transport links using the Luas from any of the main Dublin train stations. With the main room a floor or two down from the street there is a feeling of warmth and disconnection from the hustle and bustle of O'Connell Street that leaves you feeling more relaxed and ready to enjoy the show. The venue itself has a very pleasant intimate feeling with close but comfortable seating arrangements that allow for groups and couples to mix and share the enjoyment. The staff were excellent, quiet and efficient and very unobtrusive which enhanced the experience. There were 3 acts with a host warm up and intermissions between and all of the comedians were extremely funny, there were crowd interactions but nothing close to a level that felt uncomfortable and everything was done in the spirit of having a laugh. Tickets are booked online and the website is easy to navigate and the booking process is painless, on arrival our names were at the door which is a lovely touch and we didn't need printed tickets or QR codes. One thing to note is that drinks are ordered and paid for via a web portal with no cash involved, all tables have a number and QR code linking to the ordering site so this was also easy to manage. Overall the night was excellent from start to finish and I would highly recommend visiting to anyone, whether a visitor or local the welcome and service were second to none.

Great atmosphere with amazing comedians

It was a good time. All the comedians asked me questions. I had fun, the drinks were crap. Next time I will order at the lounge not online.

Nice place for a stand up comedy show( quite big). You can order drinks and food from the tables ;) and the price for a pint it’s not bad. The sound I also think it’s pretty good I could hear perfectly.

Requiring online ordering on level -2, where network coverage is poor, during a live show is a bad idea. People are there to enjoy the performance, not stare at their phones. It's disrespectful to the performers.

Great comedy acts and taste food.

We had a great evening here recently for a christmas party. Venue is really nice, toilets spotless, only issue we had was the food. We went for the tickets with "premium" platters which consisted of nothing than large dinner plates - 3 between 13 people with some doritos, cocktail sausages and chicken wings. We expected something more - otherwise we would have gone for a meal first - very dismal. We did have a great night otherwise,
