The croissants are great, the staff is friendly but the place is a bit stressed.

Lovely little café, nice coffee and staff.

Avo toast more toast than avo. I think the scramble could be less well done. The french way. Without the sausage and bacon the scrambled is a bit boring. Service was good.

Walked in on day one of the city trip. Warm welcome and good coffee. Best croissants in town in my opinion. Dont forget the scrambled eggs after a night of black gold drinking. It makes you feel alive again

The food is good but there has been a slight decline in the overall quality of the place in the times I have gone. The staff has changed over the past 2 years, which is not a problem at all, but the service has somehow gotten worse through this change, which is why I felt inclined to write a review. Unfortunately although the decor is on par and food decent (a bit overpriced for the quality, unless you have the pastries), the place seems understaffed/staff lacks motivation and are not very...proactive or trained enough (personal opinion). Wait time to get served is long (and I see other reviews stated this as well) even when the café is not very occupied. Waiters forgot to bring our menus multiple times or offered water to other tables but not ours, which is fine because we can ask and they will provide, but just a little example of the need for staff to be prompted. I sent my food back once because they had forgotten something (I rarely do but I paid extra so I had to) and I noticed another table sent food back as well... Apologies for the long review, I sincerely hope these issues will be addressed over time and wish you all the best.

Went in with my daughter, we got a a hot chocolate, a coffee and a brownie to share. The staff were brilliant with my daughter and made her feel very welcome. New town tradition
