The food is really good and looks and tastes freshly made. I usually go for the chicken curry and the chicken is nice and tender and doesn’t have that stale and hard feel to it. The portion is very generous and the staff is really friendly. I’ve been eating at Lean Bean one a week for over a year and their food is consistently good and is relatively affordable and healthy. I definitely recommend it!

I have been a customer of the Lean Bean for sometime now and I really enjoy their alternative food options. The quality of customer service especially from Phillip was next to none in resolving a slight issue I had with a particular order I received. He was quick and efficient with his replies and I cannot wait to go back and try the breakfast burrito I've grown to love. A side note the Coffee is really good too. I fully recommend stopping in and supporting a talented small business like this to get the traffic it deserves.

Anytime I'm in Dublin I stop here on the way home. I wish there was more healthy nourishing food like this than the standard deli! Now please open another cafe near limerick 😄

No wonder it’s called lean . They have no food ! Went up there at 11.30. Breakfast was finished. Ok . And lunch didn’t start until 1 . I asked if they had anything and she pointed to a glass case of crusty looking biscuits. She was a sulky woman with long dark hair and glasses. Rude and ignorant. I wouldn’t bother going there . Awful place. Went around the corner to bel cibo? Lovely staff and lovely food . Lean bean is mean !

13/12/2025: Why didnt I go there earlier? Its an amazing cozy, cute cafe with excellent service and coffee. Best for 2 people or 1. We tried -Avocado lime butter on sourdough 4⭐ Loved the idea, it would make this to an amzing balanced dish if there was an egg/mozarella to balance the tangy taste. But my partner loved it. - weekend special fluffy pancakes with fresh berries 4⭐ Loved the fact that there was generous amount of fresh berries and really good pancake.The cream was way sweet for me otherwise i would give it a 5 Cortado and Mocha ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Soooo gooood they use Badger and dodo's coffee beans. Amazing vibe and service top notch.
15/11/2025: Simply great, pleasantly lively yet relaxed and quiet, super friendly and fast service, mega delicious food, and the flat wait was super.

03/03/2026: This is a great local pub, with good drinks and interesting food. They have recently changed menu and I was very pleased to see the addition of "pasta of the day" alongside a lot of traditional food. So very curious to try their Beer-a-misu The cocktails menu is also very interesting and it's something that we'll happily test soon. Interior wise, while the decor is always nice, it just becomes magical at Christmas.
21/02/2026: My sirloin steak was a little smaller in size than expected but it was cooked perfectly to my request. My wife ordered the prawn risotto and again the portion was small, but very tasty. We shared a bread and butter pudding desert and it was delicious.
