Hosted a surprise party in the snug recently. The venue was perfect for what we needed. We had our own access to the bar, the food was great, and the staff were incredibly helpful in the build up, and on the night itself.

Our first time there today for lunch just grabbed Large Chicken Wings - really really good wings definitely worth a repeat visit and great value at €22.80 for the large wings and two diet cokes

Al Vesuvio

02/12/2025: I’ve been going to Al Vesuvio for years, and it used to be one of my favourite Italian restaurants in Dublin (I’m Italian). Unfortunately, the quality has consistently declined recently, and my most recent visit was very disappointing. The pasta arrived lukewarm, the tiramisù was mostly cream, the cappuccino wasn’t good, and the portions felt very small for the price. It’s a real pity, because the venue and atmosphere are genuinely lovely. But after this experience, I wouldn't recommend it.

11/03/2026: Easy inexpensive parking spaces right behind the GPO. Cash, coins, cards and NFC payments are accepted at the machine. Just be careful the entry and exit ways are quite narrow which are not suitable for bigger vehicles. My Toyota Corolla fitted right in though.
