Don’t understand the hype unfortunately. Ate this right after it got handed to me. Chips were super soggy, battered sausage: the outer layer was not crispy at all, but sausage itself tasted good. Fish not bad was quite flaky and juicy, but batter some parts were fried too hard (not crispy but HARD), while other parts felt like not fried enough almost tasted like raw batter.

Typical Howth place. The fish was good, but the chips tasted strongly of overcooked oil. It smelled strongly of fried food.

The best fish and chips in the area, right across from the fishing port. Fast, inexpensive, generous portions, and they offer free and unlimited tartar sauce with your meal.

Best fish & chips I've ever had in my life, congratulations. The two of us had a portion with garlic sauce (€19.50 total). I have to say, it filled us up. The staff were super friendly, even with all the noise, and not to be underestimated. Thanks again, I hope to return in my lifetime.

Atmosphere there is great for friendly meetings and conversations, chips are delicious and sauce is perfectly matched, you would believe they also have great chicken ( I don't really like fish but I love chips) so I got delicious chicken ! Don't miss tea made with heart . Staff is very friendly and pays attention to all customers, you feel respect all over the place . Highly recommended :)

Food is very good chips excellent, we had a takeaway and were very happy with the food. A little expensive here but that's where it is. If your in the Howth area try it out.

The fish and chips were amazing!! I highly recommend it. We came all the way from Spain and it was fantastic. The batter was incredible and the chips were great too <3

Typical fish and chips. Opposite the station, a good place to eat before or after a cliff walk. The fish was very good; you have to know what a dish like this is. Battered and fried. They take care with the plate by putting absorbent paper on it to soak up the grease. Very good. €16.50 per plate. Drinks not included.
