I love this place. My favourite dim sum restaurant in London for over 15 years. The quality is still top notch and the prices are reasonable. They also have excellent options on the main menu.
The char siu and stir-fried beef noodles were burnt, especially the beef noodles, which were extremely burnt, bland, and even tasteless. The "garlic vegetables" were alright, edible, and quite tasty? Anyway, garlic vegetables? Garlic? I only saw a few cloves of garlic. Anyway, it wasn't good.
I am a tourist from Canada, and my friend who lives in London took me to Pearl Liang. It’s a decent place for a business lunch or a family gathering for dinner. The food overall was great, except for the signature crispy aromatic duck—it was a bit too dry, almost like eating tree bark and the dessert was just okay as well.
That said, the service was excellent, very attentive and professional 👍. Overall, still a pleasant dining experience.

Vivian, one of the waitresses was a joy. The food was great, ambience, comfortable and cozy. I'll definitely go there again.

As a Cantonese, I'm very happy with the taste of the food here. However the portion size is very small comparing to most other restaurants. And the service is very slow unfortunately.
