Liberties Gate Bar & Restaurant in Dublin

We came to the restaurant after reading a great review and it definitely lived up to the expectations! We started with two delicious soups — I had the fish soup and my wife had the pumpkin soup, both very tasty and warming. For the main course, I had the Liberties Gate Beef Burger and my wife chose the Buttermilk Chicken Burger — both were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our visit. A wonderful dining experience overall — highly recommended!

I visited this restaurant-bar this evening and was absolutely delighted! The food was delicious — everything was fresh and beautifully presented. The portions were generous, and I definitely didn’t leave hungry! The service was excellent — the staff were polite, attentive, and everything was brought out quickly without any long wait. I was also really impressed with the atmosphere — clean, cozy, and tidy. You can tell they really care about their guests. I’ll definitely be coming back and will gladly recommend this place to my friends. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Great pints and cocktails In beautiful surroundings right in the heart of the liberties

Excellent food, attentive, smiling and professional staff. I highly recommend.

Friendly waiter. Soup was served very quickly after ordering. The main course also came fairly quickly. It would be better if you asked a single person whether he wanted it right or with a small pause. The duck was tasty, but fried a little too hard.

Friendly service. Food was okay so far. The cold fish dish that was complained about was served again within 5 minutes. We don't like coffee in a saucer either. Likewise, coffee grounds or the like have no place in the coffee cup.

First restaurant in Dublin. Fast service and good meal. With a view of the kitchen. Good surprise

We had a gorgeous meal in the restaurant on Sunday evening before a gig. It’s a fab place and will definitely return. The staff were really nice and attentive. The only minor issues was there must of been staff meeting/review in the corner in which distracted us and everyone else as the restaurant wasn’t too busy and the lady at the meeting was quite loud. Will defo return
