Liberties Gate Bar & Restaurant in Dublin

Food is good. Breakfast excels. Surfaces are grimey. Drinking glasses are dirty. I complained about it and the solution was to poor the drink from a dirty glass into a clean one. The music doesn’t set the atmosphere it could be. Hotel rooms are clean but this isn’t he hotel not was 2 years ago.

David was amazing- was very attentive/ vegetable soup had great flavor and lots of gluten free modifications!

We have just eaten at the fabulous restaurant, the food was amazing, service first class and restaurant spotless. We will definitely be back before we leave. My chowder was stunning, my wife’s dhal wasn’t as hot as it could have been and I think the triple cooked chips were only double cooked😝 no taking away from the fabulous service top notch

The restaurant wasn’t cleaned properly. It took them half an hour to bring the food. The food quality was mediocre. The staff was friendly though

We dined at the Liberties for the first time and it was wonderful. The Cesar salad and Tonnereli pasta was excellent. Our server David, was a wonderful and fun. He also gave us travel tips on our stay in the Dublin area.

We came to the restaurant after reading a great review and it definitely lived up to the expectations! We started with two delicious soups — I had the fish soup and my wife had the pumpkin soup, both very tasty and warming. For the main course, I had the Liberties Gate Beef Burger and my wife chose the Buttermilk Chicken Burger — both were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our visit. A wonderful dining experience overall — highly recommended!

I visited this restaurant-bar this evening and was absolutely delighted! The food was delicious — everything was fresh and beautifully presented. The portions were generous, and I definitely didn’t leave hungry! The service was excellent — the staff were polite, attentive, and everything was brought out quickly without any long wait. I was also really impressed with the atmosphere — clean, cozy, and tidy. You can tell they really care about their guests. I’ll definitely be coming back and will gladly recommend this place to my friends. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Excellent food, attentive, smiling and professional staff. I highly recommend.

Friendly waiter. Soup was served very quickly after ordering. The main course also came fairly quickly. It would be better if you asked a single person whether he wanted it right or with a small pause. The duck was tasty, but fried a little too hard.
