Food fantastic best smoked I tasted and chips staff very friendly

I recently tried the Fish and Chips with Garlic Sauce at Lido on Pearse Street, and unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. The cod was bland, lacking the fresh fish flavor you'd hope for, and the outer batter was disappointingly soggy instead of crispy. While the chips were passable, they couldn't make up for the underwhelming fish. At €15.50, this meal felt overpriced given the quality. For that price, I’d expect better seasoning, possibly some added sides like a salad, lime, or beans, and a more complete presentation in a restaurant. It’s not terrible, but certainly not the value for money you'd expect, especially given the prime location.
