From the moment I arrived at The Sandymount Hotel, I felt a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The beautiful historic building and its meticulously maintained surroundings offer wonderful warmth and comfort. ​I highly appreciate the hotel's commitment to accessibility. Although there are high stairs at the main entrance, a modern 🛗 elevator is available for ♿️ wheelchair users and guests with limited mobility. Navigation throughout the interior spaces is fully adapted and seamless. Also, while the hotel is not generally pet-friendly, registered service and guide pets are fully welcome. ​The hospitality is outstanding; the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful at every turn. The dining experience was another highlight, the food was delicious, and the breakfast buffet offered a superb selection of high-quality dishes. ​Additionally, free secure private 🅿️ parking directly on-site (including reserved spaces for wheelchair users) and complimentary 🛜 Wi-Fi made the stay effortless. The location is ideal—peaceful, quiet, and perfectly accessible. ​My room was impeccably clean and cosy, though a bit too dark for my preference. The only minor drawback was the bathroom sink, which made loud plumbing noises when adjacent rooms used water. Despite this, I am leaving with lovely memories and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dublin. i would give it 10 stars if i could...this hotel is the best i have ever stayed in. brilliant staff, clean luxurious rooms, comfort, an amazing exeprience...great car park...it is just brilliant. sissy and lilian in reception were phenomenal.. do yourself a favor and stay here.

Was here as part of a tour, the interior layout can be a bit confusing but the rooms are charming and the area is unbelievably beautiful. The staff were quite helpful too in recommending nearby restaurants and events.

Great location to Aviva or RDS.stayed 3 nights. Staff are extra friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent as is the food in the upstairs bar.

We had a really good stay at the Sandymount Hotel. The entire property is exceptionally clean, and the lobby area is beautiful and very welcoming. Another highlight was the breakfast, there was a great selection, and everything tasted excellent. The location is also a huge plus. It is situated in a very nice, quiet, and peaceful neighborhood, making it a perfect retreat after a busy day. My only minor critique would be the gym, which could be a bit better equipped. However, everything else was fantastic. Overall, it's a wonderful place to stay with great service, and I would definitely recommend it.

Great stay with a lot of charm The hotel is located a bit far from the city center, but it’s quite easy and convenient to get there using public transport. Navigating inside the hotel felt a bit like a maze to get to my room, and I heard other guests say the same. However, it wasn't a big deal. it seems to be the typical style of older buildings in Dublin. The room itself was a bit small and could use better ventilation, but it was very tidy and exceptionally clean. The breakfast was very good, and the staff and service were incredibly pleasant and welcoming.

4-star hotel located in one of Dublin's quietest and most elegant neighborhoods, just steps from the Aviva Stadium! 🏟️ We were warmly welcomed by the super friendly and helpful staff. The room was small but comfortable, and the international breakfasts were truly excellent, with quality ingredients. ☕🥐 There are also several well-appointed rooms/lounges where you can relax or discuss business over a snack. 💼🍩 The Dartboard and Sandymount Beach are nearby. The area is super green, and everyone is so friendly. 🌳 Maybe given the prices, there are some details that could be improved, but overall we had a great time. ❤️

I enjoyed staying at this hotel for 4-nights in Dublin. The location was quick and easy enough to call an Uber to and from the main Dublin city. (Although it was around €40 both to and from the airport though.) However, in order to be in a peaceful and quiet hotel close enough to walk to and from the Google HQ, this hotel was ideal. The thing I enjoyed the most about my stay were all the front desk staff. They were all kind and personable, and never said no... They always tried to help or find a way to say yes. There is plenty of seating in the lobby for large groups, and early one morning I noticed there was complimentary coffee too. The breakfast buffet was €20 and was really good. Full English hot buffet, cold cheeses and meats, some carbs and fruits and juices. You can also order a latte or a pot of tea, etc. However the breakfast staff can be off their feet, so patience is key. The room I had was spacious (although I walked by smaller units). Mine was large enough to open my double suitcase on a stand, it had a desk, seating area, kettle, hair dryer, iron, and closet. The flat screen TV was very small, but I didn't use it anyway. The bathroom was good and the shower had enough pressure for my long hair. Housekeeping showed up each day which was great! The only downside were the pillows as they were very thin for my liking. I think this is an excellent hotel option for anyone visiting Dublin. There is a restaurant insite for lunch and dinner and a bar as well. The hotel has a boutique feel, but runs efficiently like a large chain!
