nice hotel, clean and nice staff. It is big and a real maze of halls and chambers. Public transportation nearby and a nice area.

4-star hotel located in one of Dublin's quietest and most elegant neighborhoods, just steps from the Aviva Stadium! 🏟️ We were warmly welcomed by the super friendly and helpful staff. The room was small but comfortable, and the international breakfasts were truly excellent, with quality ingredients. ☕🥐 There are also several well-appointed rooms/lounges where you can relax or discuss business over a snack. 💼🍩 The Dartboard and Sandymount Beach are nearby. The area is super green, and everyone is so friendly. 🌳 Maybe given the prices, there are some details that could be improved, but overall we had a great time. ❤️

I enjoyed staying at this hotel for 4-nights in Dublin. The location was quick and easy enough to call an Uber to and from the main Dublin city. (Although it was around €40 both to and from the airport though.) However, in order to be in a peaceful and quiet hotel close enough to walk to and from the Google HQ, this hotel was ideal. The thing I enjoyed the most about my stay were all the front desk staff. They were all kind and personable, and never said no... They always tried to help or find a way to say yes. There is plenty of seating in the lobby for large groups, and early one morning I noticed there was complimentary coffee too. The breakfast buffet was €20 and was really good. Full English hot buffet, cold cheeses and meats, some carbs and fruits and juices. You can also order a latte or a pot of tea, etc. However the breakfast staff can be off their feet, so patience is key. The room I had was spacious (although I walked by smaller units). Mine was large enough to open my double suitcase on a stand, it had a desk, seating area, kettle, hair dryer, iron, and closet. The flat screen TV was very small, but I didn't use it anyway. The bathroom was good and the shower had enough pressure for my long hair. Housekeeping showed up each day which was great! The only downside were the pillows as they were very thin for my liking. I think this is an excellent hotel option for anyone visiting Dublin. There is a restaurant insite for lunch and dinner and a bar as well. The hotel has a boutique feel, but runs efficiently like a large chain!

An independent "neighbourhood" hotel that made a nice alternative to the characterless copy and paste chain hotels. Incredibly friendly staff in all areas, impeccable levels of cleanliness and relatively quiet. Breakfast was of a good quality with just enough variety, as a coffee enthusiast this was one area for improvement but it's a hotel and was fine to get that early caffeine dose in. The location isn't one for those wanting to be in the heart if Dublin but there's a €2 train a few minutes away, some lovely flat walks, nearby neighbourhoids with great independents and it's right next to the stadium for those attending events there. The car park seemed relatively empty at all times and once the ongoing building work has been completed it should be reasonably accessible for most. I found my "basement" level room, accessed by a maze of corridors, with a car park view a little stuffy even with the radiators off and windows cracked but not unbearably so in May, summer may be less forgiving. The curtains allow some light in at the top, or at least did in my room and a light on the telephone was pretty bright so needed covering. There's no fridge in the room but you can request fresh milk, there's a hairdryer, iron, ironing board and safe as standard, perhaps the other less basic rooms offer more. Recommended as an option for anyone looking for a nice retreat after a busy day of adventuring, working or attending sporting events.

So it all started over 70 years ago. Amazing! A simple 4-room bed and breakfast has transformed over the years into an independent hotel with over 180 rooms. Everything is spotless, from the exterior to every corner of the bathroom. Thick carpeting, a Victorian ambiance, and a very professional welcome. You immediately notice the hotel's level of service. The common areas consist of several alcoves with large sofas to relax in. The bar/restaurant is very welcoming, as is the breakfast area. The rooms are a good size with air conditioning (be aware that the unit is located directly above the bed). The bedding and pillows are very comfortable. However, some amenities could be improved, such as power outlets near the bed and a mini-fridge. On the other hand, an iron is available in the room. Regarding noise, even with the thick carpeting, the parquet floor tends to creak when guests walk by—certainly part of the charm of the old Victorian houses in the neighborhood.

Stayed for 3 nights in room 127. Ventilator in bath room didn't work. They quickly replaced it with a new noisy ventilator. Breakfast is not impressive. I asked for q-tips and a nailfile to no avail. Finding your way around the very narrow corridors is not easy. Not a wheelchair friendly hotel.
