Loaf Cafe Kilmainham in Dublin

I was gladly surprised by the quality of the pastries. Totally coming back if I'm in the area.

Im a bit if regular here, great location and gets nearly all day sun. Foods great, coffee too and love to support the loaf charity.

Staff are great, lovely outdoor seating area for the sun and coffee was also great and was reasonably cost!

It was a great stop for breakfast before the tour of Kilmainham. The vegetarian options were good and tasty. The service was slow. May be it was a one off event.

Just stopped in to grab a quick coffee. Flat white was good. Ordered a sausage roll but they were out so took the quiche instead. It was good, arugula was a little burnt in places. The crust was nice and flakey. Service at the till was efficient and good. There were tables waiting to be cleaned and we ended up bussing our own table. To be fair, there was a little bit of a rush while we were there but there did seem to be enough staff to handle it. Otherwise a nice spot and doing good for the community.

A solidarity restoration! Wanting to visit Kilmainham Prison located just opposite, we took a well-deserved break at the Loaf Café. An excellent surprise at this very pleasant little place in a rather out-of-the-way but chic and relaxed area. The staff is very welcoming and available, the places clean and bright. You can also eat on the terrace if the weather permits. We had a great time: salmon and cucumber bagel for me, wrap for my wife, and excellent typical pastries. As for drinks, you will not find traditional cold drinks (neither beer nor coke) but a wide choice of drinks such as Lattes, Matcha, Coffees of all kinds. We discovered on site that Loaf is an inclusive café which employs people with disabilities (autism or other disorders). This further reassured us of our excellent impression and our desire to return. If you are going to visit the prison or the IMMA (museum), don't miss the LOAF Café!

Staff was super friendly and the cafe atmosphere was super inviting. Definitely worth the visit.

I enjoyed my cappuccino and scone here while waiting for my tour just across the street. Beautiful, open spot and I was like to enjoy the sun. A very handy combo for 5.00€ at a place that looks modern and visually appealing. The lady at the till was very kind and warm.
