Lock and brew is easily the best place in Ballyer for a breakfast or a lunch. Eggs benedict is the best around beating even 5 star hotels. Hashbrowns are a must. Get a peppercorn sauce to go with your chips. Lock and Brew style spice bag is a thing of beauty. My little lad loves the pancakes despite being a picky eater. Staff are always warm and welcoming. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Can't fault this place. 6 of us dined here today around 3pm and zero complaints. All 6 meals were beautiful, tea and coffee also lovely (i would ask for extra hot coffee next time personally) Staff and atmosphere also fantastic! Will definitely be back!

Stephen's Green Hibernian Club

07/10/2025: The St. Stephen’s Green Club is a dream venue to work in. As a wedding florist, I’m always inspired by its old-world elegance, beautiful high ceilings, and rooms flooded with natural light — it’s a space that elevates every floral detail. There’s a wonderful sense of timeless sophistication here, yet it feels warm and welcoming at the same time. Set right on St. Stephen’s Green, it feels like you’re a million miles away from the bustle of the city, while still being right in the heart of Dublin — the best of both worlds. Every wedding I’ve worked on here has felt effortlessly stylish and full of charm. The staff are attentive and professional, and the setting provides a perfect canvas for couples who love that classic Dublin atmosphere with a touch of grandeur. If you’re dreaming of a romantic city wedding steeped in history and light, the St. Stephen’s Green Club is an absolute gem.

Huck's

05/09/2025: I like because it’s always open and the beer is here!
21/07/2025: We went to Huck’s on Camden Street last Saturday with friends and had a fantastic time. We got a table on the terrace and enjoyed the live music—great atmosphere. We ordered the Nduja and the Ham & Mushroom pizzas. Both were excellent and arrived very quickly. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Prices were standard for a city pub. The selection of draft beers could be better, but it’s grand. Definitely recommended!
