Lockandbrew in Dublin

Lovely little gem. Food was absolutely gorgeous and the staff were lovely and friendly. Couldn’t fault a single thing. Kids loved it.

Damn fine breakfast. Great service and cracking food. Busy little spot.

Cannot fault anything about this little gem of a spot! Staff are fantastic, always a warm greeting by the owners. We had a young baby with us too & they were so accommodating. The food is incredible. I got the garlic bread and bacon smash burger & honestly it was the most tasty, delicious meal Ive had in ages. Pepper sauce with the chips- perfection! Cant wait to return

Updated 4th February 2024 really do not want to leave a negative review of what is a local business to me, but feel I have to so the management may see it and act opun it. The last two visits myself and the missus had were terrible.🥺 we ordered the same breakfast we always do. On Sunday gone 7th January my wife's breakfast was served to her but not mine despite it containing the same ingredients I.e. sausages, bacon pudding etc. I was waiting 5 mins... my wife had her breakfast nearly done at this point 🤨 it was also missing parts to it. I was finished when i received the missing item, which was barely cooked. The week previous I was left short 2 items. Gonna give lock and brew a miss for while. Hopefully management review this and sort it as I really enjoyed there food. Update. Went back to Lock and brew today to try it out again, and to be fair, it was excellent once again. Very pleased to update my previous negative review Keep up the good work, guys

amazing food and drinks and service! hidden gem in ballyfermot

One of the best places on the south side of Dublin for breakfast. Excellent value for money which includes your coffee or tea. Food is piping hot & freshly prepared after you order it. Their white pudding with breakfast is scrumptious. When you see people calling in & taking away breakfast you know their reputation is spreading.

This was my first time trying here and I got the full breakfast - I'd say you'll find plenty of places that do a bit cheaper. However, I will say that it was very nice and there was a big pot of tea with it. The gent who showed me to my table and took payment was friendly and had a nice demeanor. All in all it was a positive experience & would happily go again based off that experience.

Absolute gem to find. We went for breakfast. As a celiac I am always careful and never assume that staff or kitchen may be up to date on a celiac menu or requirements. I was so impressed by this establishmenme back the next day to try the evening menu. The efficiency, knowledge and consideration was second to none. The food was on both occasions was excellent as was the service and friendly staff. We will most definitely becoming regulars here.
