Lottie's in Dublin

10/08/2025: The staff in Hellfire are the nicest I think I've ever come across. The service is excellent. The food was disappointing, however. Taco mignon starter was okay- decent flavours but nothing special, the beef was a little chewy. The nduja mussels were (as our server warned us) quite spicy. They were nice, and we both like spicy food, but both eventually agreed that the heat distracted from the flavours. Rib-eye main wasn't great- chargrilled which meant there wasn't a great sear- it was a little flavourless. It was, however, cooked to exactly what I ordered- medium rare. The accompanying padron peppers were flavourless. My wife's grilled chicken was quite average- not bad, but not great either. Lovely people but the food sadly didn't match on this occasion.

08/08/2025: We had a great experience dining at Hellfire and we will certainly be back. The appetizer, mains, wine, desserts, and coffee were all delicious and the staff were very pleasant and attentive. The venue is lovely and is conveniently located in the popular Temple Bar area.
