I stop at a lot of random coffee shops around Kildare, Meath and Dublin, as I don't like the coffee any of the big franchises serve. You would struggle to find better coffee and tastier food than at Mackeys. It's always perfect, everytime. Everything served is produced locally and is as tasty as you can get. Caroline is always chatty and pleasant and creates a clean and welcoming atmosphere.

I truly recommend this place, good food, great service and is just outside the castle.

The owner is lovely. Does me a few favours each time. Great location and a wonderful place to stop after a cycle.
