Madigan’s in Dublin

Stopped here before a midweek show in the National Concert Hall and it was absolutely packed. The atmosphere was really nice however due to the venue being soo busy food was not being served. Prices are very expensive with 2 pints costing over €14 (0% Heineken & Guinness).

During my recent solo trip, I stopped at this pub in Dublin, I was warmly welcomed by the bartenders who instantly made me feel at home. I mentioned it was my first time trying Guinness, and they engaged in friendly conversation despite the bustling crowd. Their speed and efficiency were impressive; they worked seamlessly to serve everyone while still taking the time to connect with patrons. I also ordered some food, which was fantastic and complemented my drink perfectly. The combination of great service and delicious food made for a memorable evening. I left with not just a taste for Guinness, but also a sense of the pub's vibrant atmosphere and exceptional hospitality. Highly recommend!

Delicious food and excellent whiskey.

Nice bar where we had some pretty good fish and chips! It allows you to avoid the crowds in the center.

A real hidden gem close to Stephen's Green. Good food, great Guinness and friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

Great place! They have a good variety of drinks and tasty food. A knowlegable staff ready to recommend what you might enjoy best. Easy atmosphere, it is definitely a place to visit.

Great pint of guinness. Weather was excellent so was able to sit outside and enjoy the sun watch the world go by on tuesday afternoon. Didnt have food but looked good from what i seen

We ate very well. The Irish stew with beef was delicious and fish and chips was also delicious. We were served really friendly in the very cozy pub. The small cider is unfortunately a bit expensive at €6.50.
