Can't fault the full irish breakfast very friendly staff and served very swiftly while waiting on trains.

Lovely spot before train leaves

Came here on the 15th October 2024, 11.15am The steps leading up to the bar/restaurant area were filthy. We could not fault the service. The food was excellent 5 stars The place could do with a couple of licks of paint. It's probably a better atmosphere later in the day. And due to it being a transit area it's a little out of the way for some people.

A great spot for a relaxing pint before catching the train.

While it was spotlessly clean, there was absolutely no atmosphere when we visited. It looked sad and the kind of place that would add to any depressed feelings one might have if saying goodbye to a beloved someone. For the first time we paid €4+ each for a coffee and a tea. A bit of a shock when arriving from the country where a good pot of tea or a decent cup of coffee averages at €3.50! The tea was very insipid although the coffee was grand. The bar man was very pleasant and efficient. And the toilets very clean and well stocked with paper, soap and drying necessities.

Paid €14.80 for two pints thought this was a bit expensive other than that place was ok

Popped in for a pint before catching a train and see how the Euros were going. The staff were very friendly and the pints were fresh and clean. There weren't man in but thays to do with time of day. Lovely spot for a train station bar

This was my first time visiting the bar in Connolly Station. First visit was for breakfast after catching an early train from Newry and waiting for a friend before starting next leg of trip. Breakfast was very tasty I have to say for price and all the options you would expect and thankfully unlike some places I have tried not greasy because the deep fat fryer is places best friend. There were different options but i opted for full irish because i had a long day ahead. The positive breakfast experience meant i called in again for lunch before my Uncle and I went our separate ways after a nice break and again experience didnt disappoint. I had fish and chips ans i have to say very tasty with a decent portion of fish for price, uncle had tuna melt and again looked very tasty. Drinks on plus side Bulmers was on draft which was great to see because alot of places i visit have made switch to rockshore or orchard theives and only have bulmers in bottle which they serve with a pint glass full of ice and so good i had two pints. One minor quibble was the rock shandy which should for me be club orange and club lemon not fanta options. But overall two very enjoyable experiences
