Magic Glasses in Dublin

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Green is exactly what you hope for after a long day exploring Dublin—quiet, modern, comfortable, and blessed with air conditioning that actually believes in doing its job. The location is fantastic, the staff couldn't have been friendlier, and they somehow manage to make you feel like a regular even if it's your first visit. Speaking of friendly... the Irish may be the nicest people we've met anywhere. Everyone seems genuinely happy to help, quick with a joke, and somehow capable of giving directions that include three landmarks, two pubs, and a story about their cousin. If you're staying in Dublin, stay here. Great hotel, great location, and surrounded by some of the best people you'll ever meet. Sláinte! 🍻

***UPDATE*** I initially gave one star based on the below experience. However, the hotel manager and its employees reached out and could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Our room was upgraded to a quiet area, we were given beautiful treats to enjoy, along with a personal note of apology. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay welcoming and pleasant. We sincerely appreciate everything they have done for us. “If sleep is important to you, do not stay here!!! Our room is on the street side and I feel like I’m outside. There is no noise barrier; We are staying here now, have 2 more nights to go. There’s constant yelling and screaming outside, every car, every horse, every person going by.can be heard as if our windows were open. We also had a horrible experience at the bar last evening. We came in from the outside, had jackets on. We were told there were no seats available even though I’m looking at 4 empty seats. We advised we were guests of the hotel and then told to wait in the lounge for 10 minutes and he’ would come and get us. That never happened. We went back in the bar and we clearly were forgotten. Apologies galore, but too late, the impression was already made. The bartender makes a good drink, but was slamming things around as if angry, and rude as ever. This Green experience really is more than a disappointment”

We had such a lovely stay at The Green Hotel while we were in Dublin. The location was great and St. Stephen’s Green is so beautiful to be right across from. The room we stayed in was in the newer part of the hotel and it was very nice. We had no complaints about this stay whatsoever and would absolutely stay here again.

Great location. Just a short walk to the action. Very friendly. Room spotless. Clean (9 out of 10). Very friendly staff. Very quiet room. Breakfast was excellent. Would gladly stay again.

Very comfortable accommodations, and great service from the hotel staff. Laura, in particular, was extremely helpful and was full of positive energy.

Stayed for a week, wish it was longer.... top notch service, kind and thoughtful staff. I accompanied a family member to Ireland so they could meet up with their partner for the week. My stay at The Green Hotel was serene despite its central location. Near two gorgeous old parks (Iveagh Garden and St Stephen's Green), and many interesting restaurants, pubs, museums, and shops. But I didn't have to leave the hotel if I needed a break from the crowds - quite a good breakfast, wonderful espresso drinks. The king room I stayed in was roomy, well decorated, quiet. View of a tree outside my fifth floor window, very comfy mattress and an amazing shower made it so cozy. Great room and hotel amenities, but it is the staff that make this place standout. I hope to return someday...thanks to the staff for a wonderful week...

This place was fabulous!!! The room was huge and so cozy. We will absolutely stay here again! Parking was a nightmare but the location is good and the bar is great!
