Maneki in Dublin

Recently visited for Karaoke with some colleagues visiting from overseas. We had a fantastic evening and were extremely well looked after throughout. Highly recommended!

Little expensive but the quantity is great

The staff and the atmosphere of this restaurant were absolutely lovely, but the food was poor. This was supposed to be Japanese but most of the dishes were not true to the cuisine and lacked flavour. The price was not justifiable. Like I said, I cannot fault the staff who were so lovely and accommodating but we were left really disappointed in the quality of the food.

I can’t say much about the books. I did not order it, but I did order the sushi burrito. It was just really disappointing because the rice was really mushy and damp, really ruined. The whole burrito for me. But €8.5 is cheap for the area I suppose. Maybe next time I’ll try their Boba or Thursday creeps. There is not a lot of seating inside by the way, maybe like a cedar to in the outdoor patio is not for them. It’s for the restaurant across the street.

Really beautiful Georgian building transformed into a Japanese Inspired restaurant & karaoke bar. Really nice ambience and friendly staff. I just had 1 quick dish ,which was chicken curry katsu it was very tasty, the chicken was so tender and moist, the curry just the right amount of spice for the dish.

This is one of two restaurants in Dublin that have excellent sashimi. The taste is divine. Perfectly cut and extremely fresh fish and rice.

Me and my friends visited this establishment on valentine's weekend for karaoke. Unfortunately the service wasn't what was expected. We assumed that the cost of renting the room would equal good service but not only were we late getting in the room because it was being cleaned (we arrived on time) but the machine also stopped working TWICE. When asked about adding extra time, the person responsible said they already did add 10 minutes (which wasn't true) and said she could add 10 minutes more and nothing else could be done. It was very fun but disappointing for the price you pay. I unfortunately can't recommend based on my experience.

Best sushi in Dublin. Nice and cozy restaurant with great atmosphere. Not too loud, great to have conversations.
