Mannings Bakery in Dublin

We ordered a small carrot cake birthday cake and it was delicious, one of the best I’ve had! Staff are very kind and hospitable and the bakery is very clean and spacious.

The coffee was rich and smooth—clearly made with care—and the pastries were fresh, flaky, and indulgent without being overdone. Whether you’re craving a buttery croissant, a cream-filled slice, or something more adventurous, Mannings delivers with flavor and finesse. The café itself is a lovely space to relax. It’s clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully laid out, with just the right balance of cozy charm and modern polish. We lingered over our treats, soaking in the calm and watching locals pop in for their favorites—a testament to the bakery’s loyal following. What truly stood out was the outstanding service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm. You get the sense that they care not just about the food, but about the people who walk through the door. Ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday party. It was absolutely delicious!! The parents were impressed and the kids devoured it. Even when I had to make changes, it was sorted so quickly and smoothly. I highly recommend them for all your cake needs :)

Manning’s Bakery – Pretty pastries, slightly crusty service A clean, attractive spot that really stands out among its more “up and coming” surroundings. There are lots of people walking to Guinness like me Inside, the counter is a visual treat, cakes and bakes galore. Sadly, two of the four things I ordered were out of stock, and the staff seemed mildly allergic to patience. The scones? Tasty, but more rock cake than cloud-like fluff. Conclusion: Looks the part, tastes decent, but service and stock issues mean I'll look elsewhere first

I recently ordered the Black Forest Gateau square for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary, and it was absolutely stunning. The fruit and chocolate decorations were beautifully done, and the inscription on top of the cake was elegant and thoughtful. It made a gorgeous centrepiece for the celebration, and my parents were absolutely delighted. The cake itself was delicious—the sponge was light and moist, and the fresh cream paired perfectly with the black cherries. I would wholeheartedly recommend Mannings; their cakes and pastries are always a hit, and the staff couldn’t be nicer. A big thank you to everyone at Mannings for helping make the day so special.

Great choice of delicious home cooked food. Excellent service & lovely staff. Made our first taste of Ireland a treat.

We ordered a birthday cake for my son’s 18th birthday. The ease of placing the order and how they kept us updated on the delivery were excellent. When the cake arrived we thought it looked gorgeous and we were happy then to find that it tasted delicious with lovely moist chocolate sponge, and the Oreo buttercream frosting was made perfectly We were very happy with the convenience of ordering from Mannings and will do so again

If you want to avoid the touristy cafes in Dublin, come here. Superb breakfast and desserts. Very close to the Guinness Storehouse.
