Mao in Dublin

We have eaten in Mao twice in the last two weeks, and each visit has been a joy. We are used to going to Musashi and were hoping it would be on par as Mao is more convenient for us. It exceeded our expectations. The meat (duck, beef, prawn, and chicken) was so flavoursome and cooked to perfection; the vegetables were so fresh; and the portion sizes were great (almost too good, as we couldn't fit in a dessert). The atmosphere was relaxed (perfect for families), and there is a good distance between tables, so noise or overbearing conversations aren't an issue. The staff were also so nice and accommodating. We'll definitely be visiting more regularly. Well done to all staff.

Amazing food, even better service! ​Had a brilliant lunch at Mao recently. The ambiance is super cozy yet classy. We tucked into spring rolls, fries, Tofu Pad Thai, and a rich Thai Red Curry-all of which were 10/10. ​The real highlight, though, was the staff. They are so polite and truly make the experience special. Plus, parking is a breeze in Stillorgan Village. I’ll definitely be back!

Had a fantastic experience at Mao Stillorgan. The food was amazing ,really fresh, flavorful, and served quickly. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. It’s such a great spot for Asian food in the area. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was disappointing. We visited for the second time, hoping to give it another chance, but the restaurant failed to live up to that opportunity. The fried egg was served with undercooked egg white, which is unacceptable for such a simple dish. In addition, the dishes labeled as vegetarian do not meet the standards accepted by vegetarians. Considering the quality and execution of the food, the prices are definitely too high. I expected much more at this price level.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and well prepared. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will come back again
