Mao in Dublin

Amazing food. Not sure when they reopened but the food we ordered for takeaway recently was delicious. Loads of flavour & a variety of veg in each dish.

This is a super asaian restaurant. The sraff and welcoming, warn and attentive. The food is fresh, delicious and there are lots of choices on offer on the menu

My experience here is unforgettable. A few friends and I had dined here after walking under the unfortunate Irish weather: rainy. It was the perfect restaurant to stop by to fill your stomach with happiness. The service is wonderful, although at one point, the waitress took away our plate, not knowing that we had not finished dining. As first-time customers at this restaurant, this interaction left me and my friends flabbergasted and bewildered. The food quality makes up for it.

Fantastic service, food was delicious, atmosphere was calm and relaxing

I recently visited Mao in Stillorgan, and unfortunately, it wasn’t the same as I remembered. The taste has definitely changed from what I used to enjoy before. We ordered the Tom Yum soup, nasi goreng, Mao wings, and kids noodles. The soup was quite salty and overly tangy, not the balanced flavour you’d expect. The nasi goreng was just okay, but it didn’t have the distinctive Mao taste I remember. Overall, the food felt average and a bit disappointing compared to previous visits. On the positive side, the ambiance is nice, quiet and comfortable, which made the dining experience pleasant. But when it comes to the food, it didn’t really live up to expectations this time.

Food was great went there more than once during my 2 week stay in Dublin. The service was efficient and polite, but they did not make a person feel confortable. The food was great! I tried some noodles, ramen and thai curry, nothing disappointed and I would definetly go back. The price make going at lunch a great deal. I believe it is worth it.

Tried Mao for the first time since it reopened. We rang ahead to check if they had a table available and when we arrived they had setup and reserved a table for us. The staff were very firendly and the service was excellent. The food was also great! Definitely will be back.

Great food and fab service by Wendy and Kate. They had a fantastic smile all day.
