Maples Bistro Restaurant in Dublin

A small, functional hotel, well located in a quiet, residential area. Close to the city center, 10 minutes by bus. The staff is very friendly—as the Irish often are. The hotel has a function room for private parties, such as birthdays. This makes it very noisy on weekends. Due to its type (older, inexpensive, etc.), the rooms are not soundproofed at all. So there's a lot of noise, even late at night. Earplugs help to avoid the worst and still get a good night's sleep. The rooms are clean and cleaned daily. For this price, you can't expect state-of-the-art amenities. I personally slept well. Overall, I recommend this place for its value for money, provided you bring earplugs ;)

Great hotel. Warm friendly, comfy beds, amazing shower powerful and hot. Managed to get free parking.

Great value for money! Lovely little hotel, the room was clean and cosy and felt safe. Located in a nice quiet neighbourhood, only a 10 minute walk away from Drumcondra rail and bus station, and about a 30 minute walk into the city centre. Can't comment on the food/restaurant part as we did not make use of that, but staff were very friendly and helpful. The only thing I'd say is, do bring some earplugs, otherwise your peace will very much be in the hands of whoever happens to be staying in the room(s) next to yours, as the walls are quite thin. Would definitely stay again nonetheless!

Myself and my wife had our wedding reception there on August 28th just gone. The staff, the food the attention to detail was 2nd to none. Building up to our day Trish was on hand to assist us with any query we had, offering suggestions and options to make the day run smoothly for us. On the day, everything was perfect. All our guest complimented the food and the service, (the chef even preparing a special meal for one of the guests whom has dietary requirements). We would highly recommend Trish and all the staff at the Maples House Hotel. Thank you. Damien and Catherine.
