Lovely pub, busy for a mid week night but not uncomfortable so, good service and a great mix of clientele

No food, just drinks, but that's why people come here. Unfortunately, the advertised live music was cancelled without any notice. Okay, then I'll just have another Guinness and off I go.

Great old style pub. The furniture and general style have barely changed over the decades (have been frequenting this establishment on and off since the mid 90s). Management is dead right not to change a winning formula. The missing fifth star is due to the fact that pricing is on the high side (more in line with city centre than neighbourhood pint).

It trades on a traditional irish pub which is nice but if being tradional means the toilets are like a bar from years ago. Stinking of urine dirty floors not pleasant. It's not traditional it's just bad hygiene which is a poor sign for the standards in the place.
