Maximilians Bistro in Dublin

10/10 restaurant. Went on a date here and the service was amazing and the food was lovely. Great selection of wines, beers and cocktails. Wide variety of food with vegetarian options. Staff were so friendly and attentive.

Very little space, lots of people, there should be fewer seats, it's even hard to move from your seat. Very cramped. The food is good, but the desserts are very poor, unpalatable, small portions, I don't think I can eat.

Booked the place for valentines dinner and it was super crowded on the day. The staff is sweet but the service is damn slow .Expect a waiting time for atleast 45minutes for your food to arrive. We ordered around 8:45 and the starters came around 9:30 and main course around 10:30. Coming to the food - The portion size is good but the taste is okay. For starters we ordered chicken wings, garlic bread and for mains- chicken supreme and hake. We were full at the end of the meal and had no room for deserts.

Florina was so kind, lovely and helpful. Recommended the best dishes and made us feel so good. Very delicious food, nice cosy place. Highly recommend.

Had our Valentine's dinner here, and while the food was genuinely great, the experience as a whole didn’t quite hit the mark. For starters, I had the Crispy Oriental BBQ Chicken Wings, and my partner had the Farmed Goats Cheese Bon Bon—both were really good. For mains, we both had the Beef Fillet Mignon with pepper sauce and chunky chips, which was cooked beautifully. Our cocktails, a Pina Colada and a Pornstar Martini, were also spot-on. No complaints about the food or drinks at all. The main issue was the service—it was very slow. We were seated at 7:30 PM, but our order wasn’t taken until 8:00 PM. Starters arrived around 8:30 PM, and mains not until 9:15 PM. We had a movie at 10:10 PM, so by 9:40 PM, we had to skip dessert, which was disappointing. I probably should have mentioned the delay, but at the time, I figured the food made up for it. In hindsight, it really affected the overall experience, especially since it was meant to be a special night. Would we come back? Not too sure. The food was great, but the slow service took away from what should have been a smooth, enjoyable evening.

Went for Valentine’s Day dinner (booked in advance). Took them 10 mins to seat us, despite there being plenty of empty tables. Food was good and served promptly. Bill came and did not include the deposit we had already paid and when querying this it led to confusion and another 15 mins wait for them to resolve the issue. Service needs more attention to detail.

Great for a casual night out with friends or family we went there last Friday night for pizza and pasta my daughter was like deliciosa
