Great food, nice service, rustic atmosphere

Food was outstanding. Staff so friendly

A lovely surprise to find a very nice place with great pub grub with very reasonable prices. . . I suspect I will be calling back there before I head home at the end of the week. . . In my opinion it is worth the drive to it if you're anywhere near the area. There was 8 or us (4 adults and 4 teens) and not a crumb of food left on the table after us. 8 nicely full people leaving there. . .

We arrived in the afternoon and were the only guests, so we were given lunch. It was very good, and the apple crumble was especially delicious.

Treated ourselves to Sunday dinner and we were not disappointed. I got the Chicken in mushroom sauce and hubby got lamb. Absolutely delicious and then dessert was heaven. But we have to say the staff made it, each and everyone was so friendly, helpful and courteous.....totally recommend this restaurant.

Stopped in for a quick bite to tide us over. What a hidden gem. Lovely food and a lovely bar. We had the Caesar salad and the Chargrilled Chicken Ciabatta, coffee and tea. Very tasty!
