I went here this morning for an oat cappuccino and their pancakes, the coffee was perfect and the food was good too

From the moment I walked into McCloskey’s, I felt genuinely welcome. Lucas, the bar manager, poured a truly lovely pint and made the whole experience feel personal and relaxed. Cormac the bar man also made me a lively “spice bag margarita” a thrilling twist on an old classic. Jack the lounge boy also was attentive at clearing my glasses. The atmosphere was unreal — warm, lively, and exactly what you want from a great local pub. Definitely a place I’ll be back to.

Really nice bar. Chill atmosphere, solid drinks, and the staff especially Cormac were very attentive. Easy place to hang out and lose track of time. David’s cocktails were excellent. Would come back.

I recently came to McCloskeys and the bartenders David, Jack and Cormac were extremely attentive. A true neighborhood gem.

Can't fault the service at McCloskeys. Extremely efficient and friendly bar staff. The food however was very disappointing. My partner ordered a full roast dinner but what he got was luke warm microwaved dinner. It looked like it was prepared the previous day. The vegetables were grey, the stuffing was obviously reheated several times as it was dry and hard not to mention a tiny portion. The meat was cold in parts and barely warm in others and the broccoli was raw. It was hugely disappointing and he couldn't finish it. I had the hake which I couldn't eat. Mine was also reheated and almost tasted like plastic. When we arrived the place it was early evening and was empty so it makes no sense that the food was so bad. We had high hopes for McCloskeys as we loved the pub through the years. Hopefully they will see this review and endeavour to improve their food quality.

Visited the first time and will keep going back, great atmosphere, there is something for everyone, music, sports, outside heated seating area. Food was great, can especially recommend the chicken burger, one of the best. Very friendly bar staff and management

Today we stopped by for coffee and a quick lunch, the experience was wonderful. Clean, nice music, delicious coffee and food. I especially want to note the work of the waitress Mary (I hope I remembered her name correctly), she is incredible, great service, pleasant conversations and the most sincere smile. She improved our mood after a busy morning. A good place to relax

The staff are lovely, the food is lovely, a lovely pub!

I had the best experience ever! Kids menu, ice cream, PEFERT CHIPS, the food came quickly, calm place super for a family day. All the staffs had a good service all the time that I have been.
