Last night at roughly 10:45 GMT myself and my little family of four took a nice trip down to our local fine dining establishment, the craving for a Big Mac took over and I just had to get one. When i walked in the door the atmosphere was incredible , music by local DJ Jonny Cray was playing over the restaurants in built speakers, I felt very entertained when purchasing my meal. When i got to the counter to pay for order number 67 I was greeted by a staff member named Kelan (Pictured below).
Kelan had two of the drive-thru headsets on so he could quote “take both lanes at once because i’m a beast”, seeing this i knew we were in good hands , Kelan took our order with precision and excellence , making the whole family laugh and giggle at his little McQuips as he called them. Once our order was complete he gave us our receipt and skipped off down the back to tend to the drive-thru. When waiting on our food we witnessed a member of staff named Cillian get rewarded for his stellar behavior by 3 managers, truly this is a building of heavy hitters in the food industry, after Cillian got his reward he went straight back to work , no show boating with that man! Being the nosy little bugger I am I careened my neck around the corner to try get a glimpse at the inner workings of Maccies, what I seen blew my mind. Being so late at night the building was running on a skeleton crew of sorts , with this being the case I witnessed a dashing man by the name of Sean operating many stations at once. This handsome bloke was manning the grill , flipping burgs with one hand and cleaning the grill with the other , acting like Grilliam Shakespeare.Once done with the grill Sean moved onto the ‘line’ where he prepared the burgers so fast they didn’t even have time to think about getting cold.
After all that he wrapped up my family’s 18 double cheeseburgers and sent them on their merry way chanting “Tally-Ho burgerinos “.
Subsequently a man by the name of Derry was preparing our delicious beverages , 5 milks and an apple juice, upon preparation of the milk straight from the cow as he says, a man named Murtaza placed all the items in my order on a tray and presented it at the counter , his booming voice echoing across the restaurant proclaiming “ Order number 67”
Upon hearing this I knew this was a powerful man with the voice to lead the kitchen to success.
Overall a very beautiful ordeal , the lobby was groomed to perfection by Daniel “the LobbyKing “ as my son put it, the food was piping hot and ready in mere minutes and the ole beverages were fresh as a daisy.

Recently I ventured to this McDonalds in search of a number of items off their menu, when ordering the charming and buttery smooth voice of the order taker gave me immense satisfaction in the preparation of my food, when i finally ordered my 6/7 Filet of Fishes and rounded the corner I was greeted by a man with dazzling facial hair and big beady eyes by the name of Cillian.
Cillian was taking my order and informed me he works here roughly 8 days of the week on average , all this without promotion might I add.
When he took my cash and vouched to match whatever my total was to a charity out of his own pocket I knew he was one of Ronald Mcdonald’s finest.
When receiving my food at the following window I was greeted by another fantastically groomed mane of facial hair by a worker named Sean. Sean handed me the food with such ease it is clear he is in the gym multiple days of the week , and no doubt has lifted the building standards the way in which he lifts weights.
Lastly as I was departing from the drive Thru a man by the name of Abin was doing the litter walk with such efficiency the litter didn’t even have time to touch the ground before he collected it.
5 stars , if i could give any more I would, all three of these boys are certain to get promoted soon from what ive seen !

We usually use the drive. Thats good!
Few weeks ago (21/Aug/2025) I was there inside the restaurant. Service was so slow and BigMacs were cold when we got them.

Just a normal McDonalds. It's normal these days that the order stations do not print receipts. Nothing too bad, nothing outstanding. That's new that your order disappears from the preparation screen and not getting on the collection one.

Check Fries are at least warm before you leave the counter. Ask for Salt, sugar, milk, serviettes/napkins etc also, as these are not currently on display in Artane MacD's. Otherwise its fine if you need a quick snack.

I visited McDonald’s in Coolock today at 1:30pm with my service user from our Day Service, and we were served by Jake at the counter. He was extremely helpful, patient, and provided outstanding service. Jake made sure we had everything we needed and was very kind throughout our visit. Thank you, Jake, for making our experience so positive!
