McHugh's Wine & Dine in Dublin

This is a gem of a neighbourhood restaurant. Great for casual, celebration, friends, family or even on your own. Very good with kids. The food is always delicious and the staff really pleasant. One of the few restaurants that I usually go for fish, as it is invariably cooked perfectly. However, you will not be disappointed with the meat options either. Can never resist a sticky toffee pudding to finish off.

This continues to be one of my favourite restaraunts in this part of the world. Food and service are excellent. I once described it as Dublin's hidden jewel although I'm sure its been uncovered or discovered by now. Pleased that its one of my nearby locals. Worth trying if you haven't already done so. If you already have then you know what I'm talking about.

Very welcoming staff and good value for money.

A great neighborhood restaurant. The food is lovely and also great value. We took our son (2 years old) in for lunch one day and the staff were very accommodating and charming.

Enjoyed a lovely evening with my mam in Mchughs of Raheny on Friday night. The team were incredibly friendly and the service excellent. My mam had the special which was the rump of lamb and I had the supreme chicken. Both gorgeous and the crumble for desert was fab. Lovely light friendly atmosphere with parking right outside the door. 😊

We've been to McHugh's many times, and this time - as always - the food and service were excellent. Unfortunately, one of our party became ill during the meal, and we needed an ambulance. The staff could not have been more helpful and considerate, immediately providing privacy and assistance. We are especially grateful to Charmaine who was on hand with tissues, drinks and ice and was kindness itself to us all. Good people are hard to find, and McHugh's are certainly blessed in that regard. Well done, everyone!

Lovely atmosphere and super friendly staff. Great menu. I had scallops to start and one of the daily specials, fresh monkfish with risotto. Both were excellent accompanied with a very good bottle of Primitivo de Manduria. A simple vanilla ice cream with a very good espresso finish off a wonderful meal.

Had a birthday lunch for 13 last Saturday 8th February. Could not have been more pleased how it went. Great food, great service. I would highly recommend.
