Decent place. The shandy was with Smithwicks red ale which was nice..Guinness is about 6 quid here..

My favourite pub in Dun.L for many many years. Always a great atmosphere, friendly service and a great Guinness. Thanks to everyone who works there 💚💜

Eating here right now. The barbecue chicken wings (9.2/10) are delicious. They know how to pour a good Guinness (9.4/10). The staff are very friendly and polite. Great atmosphere, no complaints.

Food was fantastic and the Guinness top notch 👍 had a lovely server named Anne who was super friendly and helpful. Best service in Dun Laoghaire by far 💯

13/06/2025: Nice spot for Japanese food in Fairview. The chicken gyoza was tasty and freshly made, and the tuna combo (12 pieces) was good quality, though not the most exciting selection. The tatsuta chicken was crispy and satisfying. Japanese beers (Kirin and Asahi) were a welcome touch, though a bit pricey for the portion sizes overall (€53 for two). Service was friendly and prompt. A decent neighbourhood choice for a casual Japanese meal – not exceptional, but solid and enjoyable.

The Academy, Middle Abbey Street

29/06/2025: Great venue in the heart of Dublin City. At full capacity it's still an intimate setting, very personal and I was upstairs, it has a bar and surround gallery up there, sound and view was excellent,few steps to the loo ( respectfully clean) sold out to Stephen Wilson jnr, but upstairs we had comfortable room to walk and I didn't overheat once,( extra bonus) the staff throughout were noticably friendly and relaxed.
28/06/2025: Small, intimate, venue located in Dublin city centre. Good acoustics.
