McLoughlin's in Dublin

23/03/2024: It's the staff that make a place great and the Dakota staff make Dakota great! Plenty of space, seating and quiet atmosphere. A great place to talk and catch up.

23/03/2024: The restaurant has a lot of room for improvement in terms of service. When I walked in, there were hardly any customers, yet the waitstaff seemed too preoccupied to acknowledge my presence. When I wanted to pay, a blonde waitress with long hair happened to be serving food at a nearby table. I signaled to her, but she just glanced at me and walked away without a word, or at the very least, she could have said "just a moment." Eventually, I had to actively call her attention before she attended to me. I didn't understand why a simple "please wait" was too much to ask for.
