30/09/2025: XIAN STREET FOOD EMPLOYEE. 28 Anne St, Dublin
Tonight was supposed to be a romantic dinner for my boyfriend and me. We arrived and were greeted by her, a dark-haired girl with curly hair. We couldn't catch her name. She provided perfect service to us and the tables near the restaurant's outdoor area.
But here are my observations about the food delivery drivers: how she mistreated them, saying, "Cancel the order and get out of here! It's Sunday and all the restaurants are busy!" and "Get out of here, kid! This is your only source of income!" I felt sorry for the Deliveroo drivers. It's not their fault the restaurant is busy.
My boyfriend and I took out our phones and filmed her cursing at the delivery drivers.
I felt so bad waiting for our order to arrive at the table that I called my boyfriend to leave that place that didn't treat people well, knowing they were of the same Brazilian nationality. I was embarrassed.
If the delivery drivers want to talk to the restaurant manager about this, I can go with you and bring the video too.
GIRL, BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR SERVICE AND TONE OF VOICE TO THE DELIVERY DRIVERS. THERE ARE OTHER PEOPLE SITTING IN THE PLACE ENJOYING YOUR FOOD.
This was just a rant for today, everyone.
