A very nice hotel, comfortable rooms, and in the rooms for four people, everyone has their own space and privacy.
However, bring earplugs because you feel like you're right next to the road because of how loud the cars are.

Great hotel for Dublin Airport stay & parking while away.
Very helpful staff... lovely food & airport shuttle bus going regularly.
Turn off for hotel a little confusing..perhaps better signage before entry.

Great little place.
Everything you need in once place. The food in the restaurant was great value for money and very nice. They rooms were very clean and well done. The shower was great. The staff were friendly and nice. The breakfast was included in our room and was lots of options. Parking has to be purchased but easy done. 10 minutes drive from the airport. Would stay again.

Made a last minute booking and was most impressed with the shuttle service to and from the airport. Ken was great - loaded my luggage with zero hassle and super friendly.

I had a stay at the Metro Hotel Dublin recently as I was stuck in Dublin for two nights due to a storm impeding my trip back to the States. I selected the hotel due to location and reviews.
When I got to the Hotel after being picked up from the Shuttle, all looked good and initial impressions were looking up.
Once I got to my room issue #1 came up. I walked in and none of the lights worked, I tried every power outlet and nothing worked in the room. I figured there was something wrong with the room until I happened to look behind the door and saw something that made me think twice. There is a slot to put your room key in that enables the power to come on in the room. I get that it's an energy saving thing but the issues with that are ....
1- I wasn't told about that when I checked in and I'm not a fortune teller, if they had let me know that it would have saved my confusion
2- The slot is so small that when you walk in there and it's dark it's very difficult to actually put the key in, you end up having to use your cellphones flashlight so you can engage the room power.
The second issue really made me mad. I booked a Double Room and the description says "Queen Bed", the photo's also show a Queen Bed. What it doesn't tell you is that it's just two single bed mattresses pushed together, which is fine until you have two mattresses of different age that when you roll over you sink down and it makes it hard to sleep. Thats very deceptive and shouldn't be advertised as a Queen Bed because thats not what it is.
Overall with all of the choices available in the area i'd be hard pressed to want to stay here again with these issues. Good looking hotel on the surface with some sloppy issues.
