Very kind and helpful bar man and a nice relaxing atmosphere out of the chaos of the evening traffic, highly recommend this cosy spot even if it's just for a coffee

Proper pub which even has a Crazy Corner. Best when tv is off and the locals get the musical instruments out and play a little REM or Neil Diamond. Tasty Beamish.

08/10/2025: Food always consistently good, staff demeanour depends on their mood. Coffee however is a roll of the dice (amazing if you get one certain barista), undrinkable bubbly muck (anybody else).
07/10/2025: sadly the day i've visited the café they couldn't serve food other than their bakery items. i didn't like the banana bread, it was too soggy and stapled dirty dishes were at every table inside. needless to say, it smelled very badly in the outside sitting area.

04/09/2025: The best noodles with vegetables and chicken at a good price
28/08/2025: Found this place while looking for a bargain. Great chicken fried rice with lots of veg and a good level of spice (though some might find it too spicy). Friendly guy working at the counter and limited seating, only 2 seats. More of a takeaway kind of restaurant. I was impressed by the value, as this is a lot of good food for for only 9€! I’ll be coming back next time I’m in Dublin.
