Absolutely delighted to have stumbled upon this little gem of a place en route to a workshop which interestingly was themed “coming back home”.
As I sat down to my cupán tae, I was thrilled to hear native Irish speakers arrive and when I was settling the bill, I shared cúpla focail (a few words) with them myself “as gailge” (in Irish). What a welcome I received when I attempted in my broken school Irish to interact!! Such encouragement and warmth❤️
I left that place with a full tummy (delish toasted ham & cheese sambo) and a full heart.
