M&L in Dublin

The food here is incredible - the menu is huge, there are dozens of veggie options that are clearly labelled. The salted egg yolk sweetcorn is sensational, highly recommend! Everything I have tried here the 4 times I've been has been excellent. The staff can be a bit slow to take your order and are not overly friendly - but quite efficient and practical. Atmosphere is a bit stark but it is no frills, their focus is on the food and it shows

The environment is nice and the service is okay, but the food has no quality control. Last time I came here, it was very delicious and I was very satisfied. However, this time I came here, it tastes terrible. The cumin mutton has no mutton flavor, and the spicy chicken is nothing but fried crispy skin. Bones, no chicken found, won't come again

When I ordered the squid starter, I received the prawn starter. When I ordered the Szechuan special, I received a sweet and sour main course. I did receive the chicken fried rice though, so that part was accurate. But when more than half your meal is completely different from what you ordered, you have to start to ask questions about standards -- and this is someone who likes the food generally from M&L. Perhaps a few more steps should be involved to ensure that customers receive what they ordered. That would be nice.
