Monk's Kitchen - Clondalkin in Dublin

I have been going here for breakfast since it was called East Village and I always enjoyed the breakfast I received. The last few times I've been here the quality has gone down. The breakfast is only warm and it appears as if it has been pre-cooked and only heated. The brown bread was stale and the mushrooms were cold and bland. It just isn't great anymore. The staff are always lovely though and the premises are nice and comfortable. The only issue is with the poor quality food.

When you see your friend's art work @NoviceJess at the monks kitchen, and have hearty and healthy breakfasts...you honestly can do no wrong. I also do yoga here weekly with @Gigi_Yoga and she has two classes which have about 20 people in it each Wednesday. So no doubt this Café is more than a Café... It's a lifestyle Café with great staff, excellent food, and lots of activity going on to utilise the space and bring communities together so bravo!!!! Love this spot 👌

Friendly staff , tasty food, my last review was for the old menu , I went here recently and has an all new menu.

New café, limited menu but all 4 of us found something to eat for brunch. Good view of interesting gardens & Round Tower, which we visited after food.

We loved the atmosphere and the food. Had an avocado egg toast, lasagna and fries, really well served! And the round tower museum is so cute. We will return, for sure!

The food was perfect, it's the best brunch I've ever had in Dublin! The staff were so nice and chill and the coffee was awesome. We'll be back again for sure!

Wouldn't visit the cafe again solely because they are over priced and must think they are just catering to tourists 3.95€ for a coffee 12oz cup is expensive and only half full also 3.95€ for a small muffin is very expensive and the food menu is also expensive. I don't think many locals would visit regularly.i think if they reviewed there price's I think the locals would support more and maybe this cafe would survive longer than peaches and pears.

Had the most amazing avo on sourbread dough sandwich with bacon and two poached eggs and hashbrowns. Only let down was hot chocolate was cold.

A real gem in a magical setting. Lovely lunch and brunch food, excellent coffee and when weather is good it has great seating outdoors. Staff are efficient and helpful. It is good value for what you get. Also..spotlessly clean. Would definitely recommend.
