Good place as a stopover on the way from Cork to Galway. Friendly staff and tasty food. Meals are on the large side for lunch, but that is typically Irish.

12/09/2026: Kathleen was brilliant, full of local knowledge. Jeffrey the cat was equally impressive. Lovely Guinness and a great chat while waiting for the ferry after walking the island on a very wet day.
26/08/2026: A neat little spot right at the pier on Whiddy. One bust little spot on weekends. We had a pint and food one evening on the island. Kids dug into chicken nuggets, chips, toasties sambo while we shared fish and chips. Everyone cleaned their plates and drank up nicely for the walk up the. Super friendly owners and very welcoming. Would defo come here again!!
